It's pretty ironic and sad the way our priorities now and then backfire. She actually really enjoyed it. I like to think that she still likes the way I read more than she enjoys kids books on cd, but I bet it's a close call. The kids audio book readers are excellent. My diction is not bad, and I'm a pretty expressive reader, but these are true qualified actors. Your average run-of-the-mill dad just simply can't compete! They know precisely how to read children books to make them exciting and engaging, keeping your kids on the edge until the very last page. Even though my daughter is still sad when I leave town, the children audio books make my trip a little bit easier on her. Both of us are very pleased about that.
